Whether you think it’s a marketing ploy or an exciting new direction, Pantone’s 2022 Color of the Year is here. Very Peri brings together cool blue and warm reds, offered in a spirit of hope for overcoming present global difficulties that face us as we enter 2022. Periwinkle isn’t the first MCM color that comes to mind. It’s neither the bright primary colors of the 50s or the muted earth tones of the late 60s/early 70s. Maybe as an MCM fan, you know better than to follow the changing winds of color trends. But, still, it might spark ideas for breaking out of color ruts. Let us know what you think!
