Does your tree need a little more glisten? Make this DIY retro ornament from Ariel of PMQ for Two!
This clever design is the perfect complement to a collection of vintage ornaments. Plus, you can customize it to suit your retro holiday decor needs. Add starbursts to larger ornaments and scatter them across the mantle, or, dress up mini ornaments to tie on top of gift boxes. Does your mid century Christmas palette err on the pastel side? Simply switch up the color palette!
“I love a good retro Christmas, but I also love a New England Christmas, so my style choices always reflect a balance between the two – lots of pinks and blush and starbursts, but also tons of plaids and greens,” says Ariel. “It just works!”
Make Your own DIY Retro Ornament
Ariel used her Cricut to cut starburst designs out of brightly-colored vinyl. After carefully lifting the starbursts off the cutting mat, Ariel customized her design on each ornament.
