We paid a special visit to Disney California Adventure Park for Pixar Fest—where the Pixar Pier has taken on an entirely new look thanks to Incredibles 2.
It’s no secret that the saga of the Incredibles boasts the best of Midcentury Modern design. Now, the films’ iconic look is merging the world of the Parr family with that of the Disneyland Resort. Get the inside scoop on how both the ride and movies drew from real-world examples—plus, see how the magic of midcentury has added to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Insider Scoop on the Incredicoaster!
The Incredicoaster, formerly California Screamin’, is the fastest ride in the Disneyland Resort. In just over 6,000 feet of track the Incredicoaster races riders through the story of the Parr family as they attempt to catch the cleverly elusive Jack-Jack. Midcentury details abound—from a George Nelson-inspired clock in the loading bay to the hidden scenes of Edna and Jack-Jack in the VIP lounge.
