Hidden Storage

The first way you can keep your home clutter-free is by storing the clutter out of sight. (Out of sight, out of mind, right?) And we’re not talking about shoving it in a closet—no, there are far more stylish and practical ways to store sundries. You can look for a storage ottoman for a seating/storage combo, a coffee table with a lift top that can hide away remotes and magazines or a credenza that boosts the Mid Mod look of any space while providing cabinets for books, movies or bar supplies.

Perhaps what some would call clutter, you would call tchotchkes. If that’s you, there’s no shame in wanting to show off your stuff. But if you need a storage method that can be accessed quickly and often, try out a narrow rolling shelf that will fit in even the most awkward of spaces.

Small Storage

Now that you have your storage solutions, it’s time to keep them organized! Avoid the junk-drawer effect by using small containers and bins to sort out stuff within your storage.
