Houseplants! While they’re a trend, perhaps they’re the winner because they’re also timeless. Green is easy on the eyes, after all. If you’re looking for MCM planters, don’t miss Mid Mod Planters and Watering Cans and Affordable Bullet Planters to Brighten Up Your Space.
Runners up were outdoor fireplaces and natural wood cabinets.
And the least popular trend of 2021 is…
Bubble Shapes. Maybe it’s too boxy or too stuffy for the fun-loving vibe of so many MCM homes. But it was actually pretty close–bubble shapes lost by a hair to boho.
Which leaves outdoor living rooms and neutrals in the “meh” category.
