What’s classic, delicious and only has 3 ingredients? The daiquiri, that’s what! It’s hard to improve upon this tasty combination of lime juice, rum and simple syrup, but we think our twist on this cocktail is pretty close to perfection.
We looked to the land of cacti for inspiration to make the Desert Daq, which uses agave nectar and Desert Distilling rum, made locally at the source in Palm Desert, California! Add a sprig of rosemary for that extra aromatic flair and you’ve got a drink worth shaking for.

The Desert Daiquiri
Serves 1
1½ ounces Desert Distilling rum
1 ounce lime juice
¼ teaspoon agave nectar
1 sprig rosemary, to serve
1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add in the rum, lime juice and agave nectar.
2. Shake for 20-30 seconds or until shaker is nice and frosty.
3. Strain cocktail into a martini glass.
4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
