Atomic Ranch embodies the spirit of the ’50s and ’60s, so we have an official cocktail, of course! This delicious martini, originally submitted by a loyal fan, is sweet and flavorful with just the right amount of sour to it. We’re sure you’ll love it!
Since we are such great modernist hosts, we’ll let our managing editor, Hannah Roberts, show you how it’s done. So, without further ado, it’s time to mix together your first Atomic Rancher!
The Atomic Rancher
Serves 1
1 ounce vodka (we love Desert Distilling’s small-batch, made in Palm Springs!)
½ ounce dry vermouth
¼ ounce apricot brandy
1½ teaspoons grenadine
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 maraschino cherry, to serve
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients with ice; shake well.
2. Strain the cocktail into a martini glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with a cherry and enjoy!
