The restored camper is the handiwork of Flyte Camp, a vintage travel trailer restoration and renovation company located in Bend, Oregon.
According to their site, “The Holiday House Geographic, is among the most desirable vintage travel trailers in the world. One of only two currently known to be in existence, the body of this trailer was designed by world renowned industrial engineer, Chuck Pelly, designer of the Scarab race car and founder of Designworks USA, which is BMW’s California Studio.”

The Holiday House trailers were first produced in 1959 by David Holmes, President of “Harry & David” fruit company, out of Medford, Oregon. Made of aluminum and wood like most trailers at the time, these particular campers stood out thanks to their eye-catching design. Produced in limited quantity (it is believed that only seven were ever made) and also known as Model X, Pelly dubbed the Geographic model the “Trailer For The Rich.”
Currently listed at $250,00, this vintage trailer would have originally sold for about $8,500.
This is no ordinary travel trailer. “The interior features Black Walnut wall skin, cabinetry and black walnut hard wood flooring with custom aluminum detailing. The bathroom/dressing room features Marmoleum flooring, Walnut and Marmoleum countertops and a Stainless Steel shower with a Teak hardwood shower floor insert.”
