It’s that time again: Palm Springs’ Modernism Week Spring 2024 is almost upon us! Feb 15-25, marks this semi-annual extravaganza of tours, talks and other events. Atomic Ranch will be there with our own events plus our booth at the Modernism Show! Here’s a sneak a peek into who will be with us at our Palm Springs Modernism Show booth. Of course, we’d love to see you in Palm Springs, but even if you can’t make it, we think you’ll still enjoy browsing our vendors’ excellent MCM-inspired products.
Palm Springs Modernism Show February 2024 Booth Vendors
Mercury Mosaics
Like craftspeople of centuries past who understood that tile serves both art and function, Mercury Mosaics aims to elevate the backdrops of your life. All of their handmade tiles are produced in a factory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Each piece is hand-cut, hand-glazed, and fired to a beautiful sheen. Their tile is touched by at least nine pairs of human hands before being shipped right to your door or construction site, locally and worldwide. We are lucky to include Mercury Mosaics’ Rise and Mid Mod Squares collections in our booth this year!
Modern Twig
Ikea exists for a reason, and while the convenience is hard to beat, Ikea cabinetry can really serve as a springboard. Enter Modern Twig, which redefines the art of custom fronts for Ikea cabinets, including their bathroom vanity styles, with a curated selection of wood finishes, colors, and styles. Check out the possibilities at our Modernism Show February 2024 booth or head over to their website to learn more.
Casara Modern
The Huntington Beach based company, like you, is inspired by Mid Century Modern design and values quality craftsmanship. Every piece they make is handcrafted from the finest quality materials and built to last forever. Their The Clementine Sofa, The Clementine Chair, The Pedestal Table, and The Side Table will all be on display in our booth, along side a vintage Herman Miller compact sofa and an extremely rare Parabola Chair designed by Carlo Aiello.
Submaterial
From its start in 2006 in the rain-drenched Pacific Northwest to their current sun-soaked New Mexico studio, Submaterial has always focused on natural and sustainable materials such as wool felt, cork, wood, and leather. These materials are fashioned by hand into beautifully surfaced wall coverings, panels, screens, and more by skilled fabricators using environmentally conscious and lean manufacturing processes. Our booth will feature their gorgeously designed wall art: Meso, Field Confluence, Diade No.2, and Orion Flat.
